High School Science

YEARS 7-10

Year 7-10 students study the West Australian Curriculum. During the first year in high school, your child will be exposed to a variety of learning opportunities. The Science curriculum is made up of three strands: Science Understanding, Science Inquiry Skills and Science as a Human Endeavour. These three strands are interrelated, and their content is taught in an integrated way through Biology, Chemistry, Earth & Space and Physics.

SENIOR SCHOOL

Students entering Year 11 and 12 have the option to study the General Science in Practice course, which consists of 4 units over two years covering Biology, Chemistry, Earth & Space and Physics. The current units studied as part of this course are Forensics, Rocketry & Flight, Acids & Bases and Wheels in Motion.
