Special Education Needs (SEN)
Our SEN classroom provides a nurturing and engaging environment where students develop communication, independence, and confidence through meaningful learning experiences. A key focus is the teaching of core words, which are embedded across daily activities including cooking, art, sensory play, and reading to support communication in real-life contexts. Students explore books through interactive and sensory-based storytelling, while creative art and hands-on cooking activities reinforce language and life skills. Our dedicated sensory room offers a calm and supportive space for self-regulation and wellbeing, helping students feel ready to learn. Through strong relationships, personalised learning, and a focus on communication, we celebrate every student's progress and success.
